RBN Web Desk: Jisshu Sengupta and Koel Mallick are all set to share screen space again in director Mainak Bhaumik’s upcoming film Ghare and Baire. The production house bankrolling the project released the Ghare and Baire trailer yesterday, and from what it seems, the audience will be witness to a crackling chemistry between the lead pair.
Jisshu plays a nerdy Amit Ray in the film, while Koel has been cast as the tough no-nonsense urban girl Labonyo Chatterjee. Both their screen names have been borrowed from Rabindranath Tagore’s iconic novel Sesher Kabita.
Aparajita Adhya, Biswanath Basu, and Joy Sengupta will play other major roles in the film.
According to Mainak, Ghare and Baire is an “unapologetic romantic comedy” which he wanted to make for a long time.
Music for the film has been composed by Anupam Roy.
