Harrow: ICICI Bank, one of India’s largest lenders, opened a new branch in Harrow on 28 February. The event was attended by the managing director (MD) and chief executive officer of ICICI UK Loknath Mishra, House of Lords member Raj Loomba, lawmaker Bob Blackman, Harrow mayor Nitin Parekh, councillor Kairul Kareema Marikar and Here & Now 365’s MD Manish Tiwari. The Indian high commissioner to Britain, Ruchi Ghanashyam, was the chief guest at the event.
ICICI Bank UK PLC is a wholly owned subsidiary of ICICI Bank and has over 5,200 branches and 15,000 ATMs globally. It has a market capitalisation of more than $180 billion.
ICICI UK PLC now has seven branches and six business centres in Britain, and over the years, has served its UK patrons through a variety of services including personal banking, international remittance, business banking, trade and foreign exchange, and commercial real estate finance. The Harrow branch will focus on serving the local community.
