RBN Web Desk: Unprecedented chaos marked the music launch of actor Jeet’s upcoming film Sultan-The Saviour which is slated to release during Eid this year. The film is directed by Raja Chanda.
The music launch for the film was held on 5 June. Reporters and photojournalists from several media houses were present at the event. Rumours started doing the rounds even before the event started that Jeet won’t speak to the media after the music launch, which is usually not the convention. When mediapersons requested the actor in this regard, he avoided them and left the venue. His public relations (PR) team reportedly misbehaved with the media. Chaotic scenes followed and representatives from majority of the electronic channels then boycotted the event.
Later, the PR team informed the reporters that Jeet won’t speak to them. Anybody interested to speak to the actor, have to do so after the event, they said.
The rest of the film’s cast present at the music launch, however, spoke to the media.
Sultan-The Saviour is an Indo-Bangla coproduction. It has Bangladeshi actress Bidya Sinha Mim in the lead. Priyanka Sarkar plays a major role in the film.
