RBN Web Desk: Director Aniket Chattopadhyay’s action-thriller film Kabir is all set to release in a few days from now. The film has Dev and Rukmini Maitra in the lead. But what makes Kabir interesting is that more than 60 percent of the film was canned in the running 12262 Up Howrah-Mumbai Duronto Express.
While it is usually the norm to shoot train sequences in a film city, Aniket chose a real train on its regular journey, to retain the authentic look and feel.
According to Aniket, the film was first named Duronto Express, and was later changed to Kabir. The train, he said, is itself a character in the film.
Kabir is Dev’s home production and he released a video of the shoot on the train yesterday.
Kabir opens on 13 April.
