Prosenjit Chatterjee and Rituparna Sengupta worked together in director duo Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee’s 2016 film Praktan after a gap of 15 years. The film, despite some strong criticisms, performed well at the box office. Director Kaushik Ganguly will now direct the hit pair in Drishtikone, a family drama that revolves around a lawyer and his client, with whom he develops a relationship. This one too is likely to release around the Bengali New Year.
Nandita Roy and Shiboprosad Mukherjee are known to cook up wholesome family entertainment and after the success of Posto, Haami is one of the most eagerly awaited Bengali films this year.
